The White Shield Dance District is the largest in the Pony Express Council encompassing the entire 19-county Kansas City metro area. As such, every year we have a surplus of opportunities to promote the Scouting program at Cub Scout Pack meetings, community festivals, and Courts of Honor. We are also a very active dance team with an average attendance of 20 Tribesmen at each public performance and 40 Tribesmen at each dance practice. Our monthly dance practices follow the school calendar and are held from August until May of the following year.

Dance practices are usually conducted on the third Thursday evening of each month beginning at 6:30 pm until 9:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 2646 South 34th Street in Kansas City, Kansas.
